About Nadi

Situated in the north west of Viti Levu, Nadi (pronounced Nandee) is the site of Fiji’s primary International Airport and the main point of entry for majority of visitors. Nadi is the gateway to Fiji and sits on the western side of Viti Levu. It has a population of more than 10,000 and because of its proximity to the international airport, it essentially caters for tourists. Facilities include accommodation of all kinds, restaurants, nightlife, duty free shopping, sightseeing tours and inter-island cruises.

Nadi is Fiji’s third largest city and is the country’s tourism hub. There are organized day trips that pick up participants from Nadi hotels. Nadi has heaps of places to stay, from budget dooms to luxury resort hotel on Denarau Island. Nadi has more hotels and resorts than any other centre in Fiji, and tourism is its main income earner.
